The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Francesco Blanton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alden Petrie having to interfere. Barton Pierson struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Alden Petrie didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tufenkbros FC. Alden Petrie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Barton Pierson in the 7th minute of play. Alden Petrie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerardo Marcoux, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Hacha Brava's Humbert Ziegler got a free kick in the 9th minute. Fernando Kurtz hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Matthew Ewing got free with Mitchell Foley in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Tufenkbros FC getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Gerardo Marcoux hit a great ball. In the 17th minute, Brock Goddard fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After having played for 19 minutes, Matthew Ewing managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hacha Brava's supporters crossed their fingers, but Matthew Ewing was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Barton Pierson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Alden Petrie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 28 minutes into the match, Barton Pierson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alden Petrie. Hacha Brava's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Barton Pierson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Barton Pierson in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alden Petrie saved Hacha Brava from getting behind. 33 minutes into the match, Hacha Brava's goal looked a bit too open when Gerardo Marcoux came free, but Alden Petrie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 36 minutes, Francesco Blanton managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tufenkbros FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Francesco Blanton was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hacha Brava's Alden Petrie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Barton Pierson in the 38th minute of play. Francesco Blanton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alden Petrie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Barton Pierson in the 44th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Barton Pierson to make the kick off. 56 minutes into the match, Hacha Brava's goal looked a bit too open when Barton Pierson came free, but Alden Petrie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lucius Dennison hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Alden Petrie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Barton Pierson, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. In the 63rd minute, Jose Fitch hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Matthew Ewing in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mitchell Foley saved Tufenkbros FC from getting behind. Mitchell Foley took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brock Goddard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alden Petrie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Barton Pierson in the 73rd minute of the match. 74 minutes into the match, Hacha Brava's goal looked a bit too open when Barton Pierson came free, but Alden Petrie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Barton Pierson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Matthew Ewing sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the match was over Tufenkbros FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Hacha Brava throughout the match.
