Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Chuck Pichette in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Josef Turcotte prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Mary Lapresse had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice moves Kristopher Faulk could shoot a difficult shot in the 10th minute, which Bertram Saindon however easily saved by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chuck Pichette in the 13th minute of play forced Paris Saint-Germain's goalkeeper Josef Turcotte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Josef Turcotte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chuck Pichette in the 17th minute of play. If Rudolf Charlesbois had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Josef Turcotte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rudolf Charlesbois, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kristopher Faulk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Bertram Saindon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Chuck Pichette had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mary Lapresse blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bertram Saindon having to make a save. Chuck Pichette fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Josef Turcotte having to interfere. Josef Turcotte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rudolf Charlesbois in the 41st minute of play. After having played for 44 minutes, Rudolf Charlesbois managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dobermans's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rudolf Charlesbois was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rudolf Charlesbois to strike the kick off in the second half. Bertram Saindon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mary Lapresse, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. After 53 played minutes Dobermans got a freekick which was hit by Chuck Pichette. Bryant Lawson hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Dobermans's zone, Kristopher Faulk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bertram Saindon came out of the goal and Kristopher Faulk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dobermans's Bertram Saindon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kristopher Faulk in the 73rd minute of play. Kristopher Faulk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bertram Saindon having to interfere. Bertram Saindon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mary Lapresse, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bertram Saindon came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Paris Saint-Germain's Mary Lapresse. But to his dismay, Mary Lapresse quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 2-0 became the score in the 96th minute when Mary Lapresse elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar.
