Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Lamar Riddle got the match started through his kick off. After having played for 4 minutes, Lamar Riddle managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Academy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lamar Riddle was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alonzo Arcouet didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bryan Gann went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Patrick Querry fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Courtney Bolden having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Henry Vincent in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Courtney Bolden prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Henry Vincent sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lamar Riddle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Alonzo Arcouet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rey Estes charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rey Estes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 22nd match minute, Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rey Estes to maneuver through the defense. Henry Vincent sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 29th minute, Patrick Querry ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Courtney Bolden was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. 34 minutes into the match, Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Patrick Querry came free, but Courtney Bolden reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Courtney Bolden showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henry Vincent, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Academy's zone, Patrick Querry stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Courtney Bolden came out of the goal and Patrick Querry tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Henry Vincent fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Courtney Bolden having to interfere.

The wind increased when Henry Vincent made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in SC Madoc's zone, Bryan Gann stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alonzo Arcouet came out of the goal and Bryan Gann tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to SC Madoc getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Gonzalo Moïse hit a great ball. Alonzo Arcouet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bryan Gann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Bryan Gann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Russell Beck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Courtney Bolden tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Bryan Gann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Patrick Querry struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Courtney Bolden didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Madoc. The SC Madoc players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
