Hayden Harrison scored 0-2 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arthur Vertefeuille, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 24 minutes into the match, Keewatin's goal looked a bit too open when Bruno Metz came free, but Arthur Vertefeuille reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arthur Vertefeuille made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hayden Harrison in the 28th minute of play. Mark Erickson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Armando Rochon's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. Arthur Vertefeuille took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bruno Metz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 34 played minutes Keewatin got a freekick which was hit by Pons Powers. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Armando Rochon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Keewatin's supporters rose to their feet, but Armando Rochon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mark Erickson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Savanne were furious when Bryon Davis was red carded, 40 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 39 minutes into the game, one of Savanne:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Mark Erickson, was totally fooled by Keewatin's Aurelio Darby, who 41 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After some careless play in the Savanne defense, Armando Rochon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mark Erickson. The Savanne fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mark Erickson should have stopped the shot.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Armando Rochon was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute, Armando Rochon made a precise shot to the right of Mark Erickson. Savanne's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. 59 minutes into the match, Savanne's goal looked a bit too open when Connie McCann came free, but Mark Erickson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pons Powers kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Armando Rochon during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Keewatin getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Armando Rochon hit a great ball. Keewatin's Arthur Vertefeuille played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orlando Gunn in the 76th minute of play. After 77 played minutes Keewatin got a freekick which was hit by Aurelio Darby. Orlando Gunn's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arthur Vertefeuille read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play.
