Spectators: 6500 (Terracing: 4875, Seating: 1495, VIP seats: 130) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Horace Pitts made the kick off which started today's match. Clarence Duff might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Malik Reese. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Clarence Duff ran back to his position shaking his head. After 15 minutes of play, Keewatin's Armando Rochon made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Malik Reese was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Armando Rochon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 29th minute, Pons Powers got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Armando Rochon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Malik Reese having to interfere. If Connie McCann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Aurelio Darby received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Malik Reese tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 39th minute, Armando Rochon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Armando Rochon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Malik Reese tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 42nd match minute, Dortmund FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hiram Lockwood to maneuver through the defense. Aurelio Darby scored 0-3 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Malik Reese, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After the first half Keewatin were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

If Armando Rochon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Connie McCann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Malik Reese tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dortmund FC's Malik Reese proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Dortmund FC from getting a goal against them. Malik Reese came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Keewatin's Armando Rochon. But to his dismay, Armando Rochon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Connie McCann recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Malik Reese made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Pons Powers sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 70 minutes, Armando Rochon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Keewatin's supporters crossed their fingers, but Armando Rochon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pons Powers got free with Malik Reese in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Connie McCann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 81 minutes, Connie McCann managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Keewatin's supporters crossed their fingers, but Connie McCann was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 83rd minute, Jarrod Hope hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Horace Pitts had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Keewatin's Arthur Vertefeuille played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Horace Pitts in the 87th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Armando Rochon kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Malik Reese. That made the score 1-5 in the 93 minute of play. Keewatin's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
