With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kieth Oneill in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hayden Larson saved Hopewell AFC from getting behind. Kieth Oneill sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benton Brock could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Hayden Larson made a huge save. After 16 minutes, Derick Boivin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hopewell AFC and the Burr FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Kieth Oneill fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hayden Larson having to interfere. A collision led to Burr FC getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Danilo Seals hit a great ball. Vito Pryor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Danilo Seals recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 42 minutes into the match, Kieth Oneill dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Hayden Larson, 1-0. Benton Brock fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hayden Larson having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The supporters of Hopewell AFC booed when Burr FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Danilo Seals didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hopewell AFC's Hayden Larson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benton Brock in the 61st minute of play. A collision led to Hopewell AFC getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Oren Cabrera hit a great ball. Burr FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Zachary Fischer 66 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. A collision led to Hopewell AFC getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Pasquale Dunham hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Benton Brock managed to get in a good position for a shot. Burr FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Benton Brock was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hayden Larson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hayden Larson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kieth Oneill in the 71st minute of play. Zachary Fischer received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Asa Narcisse came out and tried to block the shot, but Zachary Fischer slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 76th minute. Bobbie Garnier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 82nd minute, Pasquale Dunham hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vito Pryor struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Asa Narcisse didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hopewell AFC. Vito Pryor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Burr FC lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
