The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Olen Atwood sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edgardo Coyle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 10 minutes into the match, ☆冰谷☆〓嗜血〓喆Leon's goal looked a bit too open when Olen Atwood came free, but Edmond Dubose reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the ☆冰谷☆〓嗜血〓喆Leon defense, Lamar Samuels kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edmond Dubose. The ☆冰谷☆〓嗜血〓喆Leon fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edmond Dubose should have stopped the shot. In the 18th minute, Augustin Seay got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 21st minute, Lyndon Hamilton ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edmond Dubose was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in ☆冰谷☆〓嗜血〓喆Leon's zone, Lyndon Hamilton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edmond Dubose came out of the goal and Lyndon Hamilton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Dennis Pepper fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ☆冰谷☆〓嗜血〓喆Leon's protests and gave Dennis Pepper a yellow card for diving instead. 35 minutes into the game, 416 AFC's Olen Atwood nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Edmond Dubose made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. The audience was convinced that Edgardo Coyle's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edmond Dubose was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. Edmond Dubose showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olen Atwood, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. 46 minutes into the match, ☆冰谷☆〓嗜血〓喆Leon's goal looked a bit too open when Lyndon Hamilton came free, but Edmond Dubose reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Olen Atwood had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hunter Haney was the one to do the kick off. After 60 minutes, Moshe Cantrell mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ☆冰谷☆〓嗜血〓喆Leon and the 416 AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of 416 AFC booed when ☆冰谷☆〓嗜血〓喆Leon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Moshe Cantrell didn't get a good kick on the ball. Olen Atwood fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edmond Dubose having to interfere. With a little luck, ☆冰谷☆〓嗜血〓喆Leon's Edmond Dubose got control of the ball when Lyndon Hamilton tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 70th minute, Lyndon Hamilton left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The 416 AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Osvaldo Gilmore's late challenge caught a 416 AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Osvaldo Gilmore helped the player get up and apologised. 416 AFC made a substitution. German Vann replaced Lyndon Hamilton. In the 76th minute, Osvaldo Gilmore hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edmond Dubose was out of position in the 78 minute of play, and Olen Atwood capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Olen Atwood really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. In the 84th minute, 416 AFC's Lamar Samuels ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Edmond Dubose. Edmond Dubose yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-6. After having played for 87 minutes, Hunter Haney managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ☆冰谷☆〓嗜血〓喆Leon's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hunter Haney was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Amado Harmon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Acácio Quirino having to interfere. 416 AFC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
