GALATASARAY SK were awarded a corner in the 14th minute after FC Lepanto 71's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jake Thorne took the corner. After taking down the ball on GALATASARAY SK's corner Dominique Brousse fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Noe Wolf quite easily take care of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Quentin Starkey in the 22nd minute of play forced FC Lepanto 71's goalkeeper Noe Wolf to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kurtis Capps showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gavin Dutton, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. GALATASARAY SK's Kurtis Capps played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emmanuel Cousteau in the 28th minute of play. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Quentin Starkey to make the kick off. Malcolm Faure received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Kurtis Capps tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Raymundo Belisle blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kurtis Capps having to make a save. Kurtis Capps made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victor Stratton in the 58th minute of play. GALATASARAY SK's Kurtis Capps proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save GALATASARAY SK from getting a goal against them. When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, Gavin Dutton took a quick shot and it went in 0-1 without a chance for Kurtis Capps to make any attempt to save it. In the 70th minute of the match, Gavin Dutton tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Kurtis Capps saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 71 minutes into the match, GALATASARAY SK's goalkeeper Kurtis Capps had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Malcolm Faure.
