Hunter Haney recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Newtown booed when ☆冰谷☆〓嗜血〓喆Leon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hunter Haney didn't get a good kick on the ball. ☆冰谷☆〓嗜血〓喆Leon's Edmond Dubose played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Margarito Deniger in the 23rd minute of play. Newtown's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ☆冰谷☆〓嗜血〓喆Leon the free kick. After a rather tough play, Newtown's Josiah Cameron got a free kick in the 31st minute. Newtown's Léonard Hackett proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Newtown from getting a goal against them. Edmond Dubose showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Margarito Deniger, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. In the 42ndth minute of the game Johnie Landry who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ☆冰谷☆〓嗜血〓喆Leon's Edmond Dubose was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to ☆冰谷☆〓嗜血〓喆Leon getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Sylvain Russell hit a great ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Margarito Deniger made a kick off. Margarito Deniger blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Edmond Dubose having to make a save. Margarito Deniger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Margarito Deniger struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Edmond Dubose didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Newtown. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tobias Caron got free with Edmond Dubose in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hunter Haney in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Léonard Hackett prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 84 minutes Newtown's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Osvaldo Gilmore who took care of the corner kick. Edmond Dubose showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Margarito Deniger, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. With an all-out effort, Newtown's Edmond Dubose threw himself towards the right post 89 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Margarito Deniger, which otherwise would have been placed in the net.
