Noe Wolf showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cleo Smart, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. A collision led to FC Lepanto 71 getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Raymundo Belisle hit a great ball. Santos FC's Gervais Cotton was substituted for Guadalupe Holliday. Noe Wolf took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cleo Smart, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Gervais Cotton managed to get in a good position for a shot. Santos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gervais Cotton was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Noe Wolf breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 28 minutes, Gavin Dutton mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Lepanto 71 and the Santos FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 31 played minutes FC Lepanto 71 got a freekick which was hit by Tommie Painter. In the 33rd minute, Cleo Smart ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Noe Wolf was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 40 minutes into the match, Gervais Cotton notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of FC Lepanto 71's Noe Wolf. Noe Wolf was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Noe Wolf took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cleo Smart, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Jody Rodrigue's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Noe Wolf was relentless in the 47th minute of the game. After the first half Santos FC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gavin Dutton stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jody Rodrigue received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Noe Wolf tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gervais Cotton was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 53rd minute. Santos FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. With a little luck, FC Lepanto 71's Noe Wolf got control of the ball when Cleo Smart tried to sneak it across the goal line. Son Lajoie's late challenge caught a FC Lepanto 71's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Son Lajoie helped the player get up and apologised. If Jody Rodrigue had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lanny Hicks made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victor Stratton in the 67th minute of play. Cleo Smart fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Noe Wolf having to interfere. Kermit Petit's late challenge caught a FC Lepanto 71's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kermit Petit helped the player get up and apologised. After 71 played minutes Santos FC got a freekick which was hit by Kermit Petit. In the 75th minute, Kermit Petit hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Santos FC's Kenneth Hart got a free kick in the 76th minute. Malcolm Faure took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 76th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Lanny Hicks. Santos FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 78 played minutes Santos FC got a freekick which was hit by Kenneth Hart. If Jody Rodrigue had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 0-5 became the score in the 89th minute when Gervais Cotton elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Jody Rodrigue fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Noe Wolf having to interfere.
