The referee ignored Hopewell AFC's protests and gave Zachary Fischer a yellow card for diving instead. In the 6th minute, Zachary Fischer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in 416 AFC's zone, Vito Pryor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Acácio Quirino came out of the goal and Vito Pryor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Hopewell AFC's Cliff Knapp got a free kick in the 9th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Hopewell AFC's zone, Lyndon Hamilton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hayden Larson came out of the goal and Lyndon Hamilton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Olen Atwood sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Lyndon Hamilton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vito Pryor in the 23rd minute of play forced 416 AFC's goalkeeper Acácio Quirino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hayden Larson came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by 416 AFC's Olen Atwood. But to his dismay, Olen Atwood quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Lyndon Hamilton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Hayden Larson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 30 minutes into the game, Edgardo Coyle cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Hayden Larson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Zachary Fischer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Acácio Quirino having to interfere. With a little luck, Hopewell AFC's Hayden Larson got control of the ball when Lyndon Hamilton tried to sneak it across the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zachary Fischer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Edgardo Coyle made a precise shot to the right of Hayden Larson. Hopewell AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. If Lyndon Hamilton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Olen Atwood struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Vito Pryor didn't get a good kick on the ball. 416 AFC's Edgardo Coyle got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Hopewell AFC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Cliff Knapp hit a great ball. If Olen Atwood had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vito Pryor kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Hayden Larson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgardo Coyle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lyndon Hamilton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Hayden Larson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hayden Larson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lyndon Hamilton went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. 86 minutes into the game, 416 AFC's Olen Atwood nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hayden Larson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. Hayden Larson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saul Esquivel in the 91st minute of the match.
