Quentin Starkey started the match with the kick off. After 4 played minutes GALATASARAY SK got a freekick which was hit by Kennith Nance. Kurtis Capps showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lamar Samuels, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. If Quentin Starkey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lamar Samuels in the 11th minute of play forced GALATASARAY SK's goalkeeper Kurtis Capps to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kurtis Capps showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jessie Deschamps in the 12th minute of the match. Lyndon Hamilton hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Lamar Samuels scored 0-1 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kurtis Capps, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. GALATASARAY SK's Kurtis Capps played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lyndon Hamilton in the 21st minute of play. In the 22nd minute Olen Atwood shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kurtis Capps saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 28th minute, Lyndon Hamilton left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The 416 AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. The audience was convinced that Edgardo Coyle's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kurtis Capps was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. A collision led to 416 AFC getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Robt Ballard hit a great ball. Stevie Vazquez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Acácio Quirino made a huge save. 416 AFC's Olen Atwood got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 41 minutes into the match, GALATASARAY SK's goal looked a bit too open when Lamar Samuels came free, but Kurtis Capps reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 42nd minute Edgardo Coyle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kurtis Capps saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Olen Atwood received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Kurtis Capps tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of 416 AFC booed when GALATASARAY SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Quentin Starkey didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half 416 AFC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lyndon Hamilton to strike the kick off in the second half. Olen Atwood might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kurtis Capps. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Olen Atwood ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lyndon Hamilton got free with Kurtis Capps in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the GALATASARAY SK defense, Olen Atwood kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kurtis Capps. The GALATASARAY SK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kurtis Capps should have stopped the shot. Acácio Quirino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Quentin Starkey in the 69th minute of the match. Acácio Quirino didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Quentin Starkey went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Kurtis Capps made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edgardo Coyle in the 72nd minute. If Lyndon Hamilton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice moves Lyndon Hamilton could shoot a difficult shot in the 76th minute, which Kurtis Capps however easily saved by the left post. GALATASARAY SK's Kurtis Capps played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olen Atwood in the 85th minute of play. Lyndon Hamilton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kurtis Capps having to interfere. 416 AFC played a much better game than GALATASARAY SK and deserved their victory. The GALATASARAY SK players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
