The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When TFC's Karl Felder, in the 33rd minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for TFC. Drew Iverson charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Drew Iverson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Drew Iverson hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Jamey Orr made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Emery Dubois sent off a good shot on target. Jarod Farrar scored 0-1 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Graham Meyers, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The TFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Bayern Munchen were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Karl Felder to strike the kick off in the second half. After 55 minutes, Teddy Nielsen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bayern Munchen and the TFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl Felder in the 59th minute of play forced Bayern Munchen's goalkeeper Jamey Orr to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. TFC's Emery Dubois got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Robert Shapiro during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Bayern Munchen booed when TFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robert Shapiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Karl Felder took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jamey Orr. In the 74th minute, Emery Dubois got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Karl Felder in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jamey Orr prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Graham Meyers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abe Brunault, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when John Beasley got free with Graham Meyers in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Bayern Munchen players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented TFC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
