Spectators: 8010 (Terracing: 6009, Seating: 1842, VIP seats: 159) Ioco's Merrill Hadley started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 8 minutes into the match, Merrill Hadley dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Merrill Martinez, 1-0. After 11 minutes of play, Grainland AFC's Cyril Calloway made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aurelien Langelier was left in no man's land by his defense there! Clayton Reid scored 1-2 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aurelien Langelier, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 24th match minute, Grainland AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raphael Lemelin to maneuver through the defense. Emile McWilliams recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aurelien Langelier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cyril Calloway in the 28th minute of play. Mitch Ibarra might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Merrill Martinez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mitch Ibarra ran back to his position shaking his head. Grainland AFC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Emile McWilliams 35 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-2. 44 minutes into the match, Ioco's goal looked a bit too open when Cyril Calloway came free, but Aurelien Langelier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emile McWilliams's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 46thth minute, Merrill Martinez skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Mitch Ibarra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Grainland AFC's zone, John Timmons stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Merrill Martinez came out of the goal and John Timmons tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Clayton Reid got free with Aurelien Langelier in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Cyril Calloway's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aurelien Langelier was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. In the 77th match minute, Ioco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucien Leal to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Raphael Lemelin got free with Aurelien Langelier in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Clayton Reid managed to get in a good position for a shot. Grainland AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Clayton Reid was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aurelien Langelier breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Grainland AFC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
