Merrill Martinez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pedro Buckner went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Bernie Staley hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Pedro Buckner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. When the match clock showed 41 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Dean Jamison sped through Grainland AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Merrill Martinez. Wally Starr fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Merrill Martinez having to interfere. With a little luck, Beast FC's Russel Root got control of the ball when Clayton Reid tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Grainland AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Beast FC were winning 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cyril Calloway was the one to do the kick off. Cyril Calloway received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Russel Root tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Grainland AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 55th minute, when Wally Starr scored to the left of an out of position Merrill Martinez, making the score, 0-4. 1-4 became the score in the 59th minute when Clayton Reid elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Merrill Martinez came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Beast FC's Wally Starr. But to his dismay, Wally Starr quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. Russel Root took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cyril Calloway, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 71st minute, Pedro Buckner fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 73rd minute, Ricardo Christie ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Merrill Martinez was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-6. When the match had gone on for 77 minutes, Pedro Buckner put it in 1-7 from a short distance just to the right of Merrill Martinez. With his leg Merrill Martinez managed to avoid a goal in the 82ndth minute, when Beast FC's Dean Jamison fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ricardo Christie could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Merrill Martinez made a huge save. Myles Gladu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Merrill Martinez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 89 minutes into the game, Grainland AFC's Cyril Calloway nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Russel Root made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-7. After a rather tough play, Beast FC's Wally Starr got a free kick in the 91st minute. When Wally Starr came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Beast FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wally Starr couldn't finish the play. When the match was over Beast FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Grainland AFC throughout the match.
