Karl Felder was extremely unlucky when he, in the 45th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Karl Felder received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Merrill Martinez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Karl Felder was the one to do the kick off. The referee ignored Grainland AFC's protests and gave Rocky Galindo a yellow card for diving instead. After recieving a nice pass, Grainland AFC's Raphael Lemelin tried to score from far away in the 92nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 95th minute, TFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Cyril Calloway fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post.
