Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Juste Marks's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 6thth minute, Claude Fugère skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Gilles Nolan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Claude Fugère came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Suquash AFC's Juste Marks. But to his dismay, Juste Marks quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Claude Fugère showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilles Nolan, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Juste Marks fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claude Fugère having to interfere. 38 minutes into the match, Saskatoon Blades's goal looked a bit too open when Gilles Nolan came free, but Claude Fugère reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 45 minutes into the game, Gilles Nolan recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Claude Fugère. Gilles Nolan showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gilles Nolan to strike the kick off in the second half. The Suquash AFC fans' excitement grew in the 53rd match minute when Suquash AFC's Gilles Nolan looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The audience was convinced that Juste Marks's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Claude Fugère was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilles Nolan in the 66th minute of play forced Saskatoon Blades's goalkeeper Claude Fugère to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Claude Fugère took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilles Nolan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Irvin Skinner could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Achille McCollum made a huge save. Achille McCollum was a little too slow when Kelvin Dick got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 74th minute. The score was now 3-1. After some careless play in the Saskatoon Blades defense, Juste Marks kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Claude Fugère. The Saskatoon Blades fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Claude Fugère should have stopped the shot. Gilles Nolan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 84 minutes, Son Forbes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Saskatoon Blades and the Suquash AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 83 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Saskatoon Blades! If Juste Marks had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 97 minutes in the game, Irvin Skinner fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Achille McCollum having to interfere. In the 99th minute the ball was on its way in behind Saskatoon Blades's goalkeeper Claude Fugère, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the referee ended the match the Suquash AFC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
