Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Kelvin Dick made the kick off and thus started the match. Claude Fugère made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Brooks Murray sent off a good shot on target. Rodolphe Little hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodolphe Little in the 10th minute of play forced Que The Tides's goalkeeper Les Hatch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Claude Fugère took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Scot Desforges, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 15 minutes into the match, Que The Tides's goal looked a bit too open when Kelvin Dick came free, but Les Hatch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kelvin Dick in the 16th minute of play forced Que The Tides's goalkeeper Les Hatch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Que The Tides fans' excitement grew in the 17th match minute when Que The Tides's Brooks Murray looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kelvin Dick in the 25th minute of play forced Que The Tides's goalkeeper Les Hatch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Claude Fugère made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Scot Desforges in the 29th minute of play. Brooks Murray's late challenge caught a Saskatoon Blades's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Brooks Murray helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Que The Tides getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Brooks Murray hit a great ball. Les Hatch showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Irvin Skinner in the 32nd minute of the match. After 34 played minutes, Que The Tides's Tommie Deblois shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Claude Fugère came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Que The Tides reached it. Émilien Stephenson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claude Fugère having to interfere. Claude Fugère made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Scot Desforges in the 42nd minute of play. Clemente Wiley hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Scot Desforges in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Claude Fugère prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Brooks Murray could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Claude Fugère made a huge save. 48 minutes into the match, Que The Tides's goal looked a bit too open when Kelvin Dick came free, but Les Hatch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Scot Desforges was the one to do the kick off. If Scot Desforges had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Les Hatch took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kelvin Dick, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Brooks Murray in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Claude Fugère saved Saskatoon Blades from getting behind. Les Hatch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodolphe Little in the 58th minute of play. 60 minutes into the match, Saskatoon Blades's goal looked a bit too open when Scot Desforges came free, but Claude Fugère reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 60th minute, Rodolphe Little hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Que The Tides's Émilien Stephenson got a free kick in the 61st minute. With a little luck, Que The Tides's Les Hatch got control of the ball when Irvin Skinner tried to sneak it across the goal line. Scot Desforges got in the 64th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Claude Fugère handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. In the 65th minute Kelvin Dick shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Les Hatch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 67th minute Clemente Wiley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Les Hatch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Irvin Skinner got free with Les Hatch in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Chad Woodson thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Claude Fugère, a very annoying self made goal in the 74th minute which led to 2-0. In the 77th minute, Brooks Murray got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Les Hatch made an important save on a dangerous shot by Irvin Skinner in the 80th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Scot Desforges in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Claude Fugère prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The throw-in from Loren McKinney in the 86th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Que The Tides's Émilien Stephenson. The audience was convinced that Scot Desforges's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Claude Fugère was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. Claude Fugère showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Scot Desforges in the 89th minute of the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Que The Tides fans cheered their team off the field, for while Saskatoon Blades had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
