Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 150) Wally Zepeda started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Wally Zepeda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Owen King came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Argentina U23 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Owen King couldn't finish the play. Owen King recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roberto England in the 8th minute of play forced Argentina U23's goalkeeper Jordan Carrier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Wally Zepeda kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Antone Lassiter. That made the score 1-0 in the 11 minute of play. Jordan Carrier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benoit Cassidy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wally Zepeda in the 19thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Antone Lassiter, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Jordan Carrier came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Anson's Roberto England. But to his dismay, Roberto England quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Zachariah Harrell kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Antone Lassiter made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wally Zepeda in the 32nd minute. Clark Murphy took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 34th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Antone Lassiter. Anson's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wally Zepeda in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Antone Lassiter saved Anson from getting behind. In the 37th minute, Wally Zepeda made a precise shot to the right of Antone Lassiter. Anson's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Antone Lassiter was out of position in the 40 minute of play, and Wally Zepeda capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Wally Zepeda really showed his touch with that goal: 4-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zachariah Harrell during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Zachariah Harrell hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Antone Lassiter acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 47th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Davis Sinclair. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Benoit Cassidy made a kick off. The audience was convinced that Wally Zepeda's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Antone Lassiter was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. After 55 minutes, Wally Zepeda made it 5-1 with a short kick to the right side. Anson's Antone Lassiter tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Wally Zepeda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Curt Stoner kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. In the 65th minute, Anson's Zachariah Harrell ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jordan Carrier. Jordan Carrier yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-2. 68 minutes into the match, Argentina U23's goal looked a bit too open when Deshawn Sears came free, but Jordan Carrier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Deshawn Sears, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 69 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Jordan Carrier was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Jordan Carrier was a little too slow when Roberto England got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 71st minute. The score was now 5-3. Jordan Carrier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roberto England, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Wally Zepeda took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Antone Lassiter. Antone Lassiter dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-3. In the 84th minute of the match Clark Murphy shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Antone Lassiter showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Owen King's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Antone Lassiter was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. 96 minutes into the match, Deshawn Sears had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jordan Carrier. Argentina U23's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Deshawn Sears was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-4. For all the effort they put into the match, the Anson players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Argentina U23.
