Nolan Lovett might have been able to make a better finish in the 48th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Claude Fugère. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kelvin Dick was the one to do the kick off. In the 58th minute, Jesus Marquez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jesus Marquez had several of the Saskatoon Blades's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 61 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-4 score and a disappointed Claude Fugère as he didn't even see the shot coming. A collision led to Fowler getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. The crowd rose to their feet as Bryce Butcher kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Claude Fugère. That made the score 0-6 in the 87 minute of play. In the 96th minute, Jesus Marquez fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Fowler's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
