Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Neal Wagner made the kick off which started today's match. Barton Pittman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Neal Wagner in the 13th minute of play. Neal Wagner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Barton Pittman having to interfere. Reggie Dupree's late challenge caught a S.S.LAZIO's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Reggie Dupree helped the player get up and apologised. Reggie Dupree kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the match, TorontoRangers's goal looked a bit too open when Neal Wagner came free, but Barton Pittman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 24th minute by Anton Courtois got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After a defensive mix-up in S.S.LAZIO's zone, Michel McDonough stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bennie Frye came out of the goal and Michel McDonough tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of TorontoRangers booed when S.S.LAZIO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlo Huston didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bennie Frye showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anton Courtois, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. 37 minutes into the match, S.S.LAZIO's goal looked a bit too open when Reggie Dupree came free, but Bennie Frye reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Michel McDonough could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Bennie Frye made a huge save. Anton Courtois fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bennie Frye having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

TorontoRangers's Michel McDonough got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anton Courtois in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bennie Frye saved S.S.LAZIO from getting behind. Bennie Frye showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michel McDonough in the 60th minute of the match. In the 61st minute, Orville Nelson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Barton Pittman was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Rodney Moses. After 68 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for S.S.LAZIO! In the 69th minute there was a penalty for TorontoRangers. Darrick Chrétien stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Bennie Frye. 2-0. Anton Courtois struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Bennie Frye didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for TorontoRangers. Michel McDonough scored 3-0 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bennie Frye, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 78th minute Anton Courtois shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bennie Frye saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bennie Frye made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michel McDonough in the 84th minute of play. When Anton Courtois came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the TorontoRangers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anton Courtois couldn't finish the play. René Vincent fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Barton Pittman having to interfere. Michel McDonough sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee ended the match the TorontoRangers players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
