In the 2nd match minute, Carnaby AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Davis Early to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Govan's Zachary Gay got control of the ball when Cesar Howell tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Govan getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Wilford Cisneros hit a great ball. Chas Shepard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Elroy Parnell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joan Hightower having to interfere. Joan Hightower took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anselme Pollard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edison Wiggins hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Joan Hightower showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anselme Pollard, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. 26 minutes into the match, Govan's Elroy Parnell sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joan Hightower narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 28th minute of the match Govan got a corner. Carnaby AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gaston Martin ran over to the corner to take the kick. Gaston Martin made a great header on Govan's corner, it was just that Carnaby AFC's Joan Hightower managed to reach the ball for a save. Chas Shepard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Govan's Zachary Gay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edison Wiggins in the 38th minute of play. Chas Shepard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Chas Shepard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Zachary Gay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chas Shepard in the 47th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Chas Shepard to strike the kick off in the second half. Joan Hightower was a little too slow when Anselme Pollard got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 54th minute. The score was now 0-1. Cesar Howell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zachary Gay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cesar Howell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Govan's Zachary Gay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chas Shepard in the 74th minute of play. Cesar Howell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Zachary Gay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Carnaby AFC's Joan Hightower got control of the ball when Elroy Parnell tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chas Shepard in the 91st minute of play forced Govan's goalkeeper Zachary Gay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Grady Langley kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Carnaby AFC's Dwayne Webb couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 95th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Govan. Although Carnaby AFC had been in control for most of the match, Govan still came away with the win.
