After a defensive mix-up in KS.Gornik Zabrze's zone, Daren Hawthorne stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. In the 38thth minute of the game Daren Hawthorne who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KS.Gornik Zabrze's Darnell Mosher was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 40 minutes into the game, Ferdinand Boyle cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Darnell Mosher was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Ferdinand Boyle came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the The Friction fans jumped to their feet.
