Martin Thibault recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Club Atletico Totogol getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Étienne Vega hit a great ball. Stanford Ransom could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Carrol Granger made a huge save. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Martin Thibault to make the kick off. Darnell Mosher made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Thibault in the 84th minute of play. 85 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Totogol's Harley Samuels sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Darnell Mosher narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Harley Samuels who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 94thth minute tested the skills of Darnell Mosher when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Club Atletico Totogol's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
