In the 20th minute, Rodrigue Lockwood got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rodrigue Lockwood could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Luc Parrish made a huge save. toronto fc's Rodrigue Lockwood got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 30th minute, toronto fc's Boyce Racicot dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. Rodrigue Lockwood received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Luc Parrish tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rodrigue Lockwood in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luc Parrish saved Repentigny from getting behind. The supporters of toronto fc booed when Repentigny was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cole Lemons didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luc Parrish was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Chong Kenney. A collision led to Repentigny getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Pedro Austin hit a great ball. In the 48th minute, Boyce Racicot got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Freddy Covillon to make the kick off. Boyce Racicot sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Boyce Racicot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luc Parrish having to interfere. In the 72nd match minute, Repentigny was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cole Lemons to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boyce Racicot in the 73rd minute of play forced Repentigny's goalkeeper Luc Parrish to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 77th play minutes Rodrigue Lockwood shot 4-0, a short shot which went by Luc Parrish and just under the crossbar into goal. The toronto fc fans' excitement grew in the 80th match minute when toronto fc's Boyce Racicot looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Boyce Racicot in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luc Parrish saved Repentigny from getting behind. Rodrigue Lockwood recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luc Parrish made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodrigue Lockwood in the 96th minute of play. Repentigny's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
