Spectators: 7984 (Terracing: 5989, Seating: 1836, VIP seats: 159) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Alonso Arroyo made the kick off which started today's match. After a defensive mix-up in Canadian CO's zone, Alexandre Lampron stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Frankie Laberge came out of the goal and Alexandre Lampron tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Canadian CO's Frankie Laberge played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexandre Lampron in the 5th minute of play. In the 7th minute Toby Hobson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Renard Stovall saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 14 played minutes Mississauga Mavericks got a freekick which was hit by Shad Hutchins. Toby Hobson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Renard Stovall having to interfere. Frankie Laberge was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Darryl Huang. Alexandre Lampron received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Frankie Laberge tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lucius Powell kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Frankie Laberge made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexandre Lampron in the 32nd minute of play. After 36 minutes of play, Canadian CO's Lucius Powell made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Renard Stovall was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alexandre Lampron made a kick off. Mississauga Mavericks's Alexandre Lampron got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 55 minutes into the match, Toussaint Buchanan notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Canadian CO's Frankie Laberge. Frankie Laberge was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 58 minutes into the match, Canadian CO's Alonso Arroyo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Renard Stovall narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Toby Hobsons short, quick shot in the 62ndth minute got Renard Stovall to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Frankie Laberge made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexandre Lampron in the 72nd minute of play. Frankie Laberge took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexandre Lampron, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Toussaint Buchanan in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Frankie Laberge prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 87th match minute, Canadian CO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucius Powell to maneuver through the defense. Toussaint Buchanan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Frankie Laberge tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Renard Stovall made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alonso Arroyo in the 92nd minute of play. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Canadian CO would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
