With a couple of smart ball manuevers Trey Logan in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Doug Kerr saved Sicamous from getting behind. In the 18th minute, Wilbert Hannah got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Homer Primeau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ricky Mackey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Jason Hay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 26th minute Homer Primeau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jason Hay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Sicamous booed when Trois-Rivières FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Louie Beatty didn't get a good kick on the ball. Homer Primeau received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Jason Hay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kurt Serrano kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. After 35 played minutes Trois-Rivières FC got a freekick which was hit by Kurt Serrano. Trey Logan might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Doug Kerr. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Trey Logan ran back to his position shaking his head. Wilbert Hannah sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Doug Kerr took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Trey Logan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Trey Logan made a kick off. In the 68th minute, Trois-Rivières FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ricky Mackey fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 72 minutes into the match, Trois-Rivières FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ricky Mackey came free, but Jason Hay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Trey Logan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Homer Primeau managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sicamous's supporters rose to their feet, but Homer Primeau was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jason Hay breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 78th minute Trey Logan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Doug Kerr saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ricky Mackey during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 96 played minutes Sicamous got a freekick which was hit by Ricky Mackey. When the match was over Sicamous could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Trois-Rivières FC throughout the match.
