Merle Reyna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Abe Canales tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tory Burt took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 13th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ned Fontaine. Craigmyle's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Léonard Morales scored 0-1 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Abe Canales, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Léonard Morales in the 19th minute of play forced Rapid Vienna's goalkeeper Abe Canales to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Merle Reyna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. After having played for 43 minutes, Léonard Morales managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Craigmyle's supporters crossed their fingers, but Léonard Morales was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 45 minutes into the match, Rapid Vienna's goal looked a bit too open when Everett Sosa came free, but Abe Canales reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Craigmyle were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Merle Reyna stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Léonard Morales could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Abe Canales made a huge save. A collision led to Rapid Vienna getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Anselme Houser hit a great ball. Léonard Morales received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. In the 82nd minute, Merle Reyna ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Abe Canales was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Abe Canales took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Merle Reyna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle sounded Craigmyle left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Rapid Vienna.
