Seating: 1849, VIP seats: 0) Ricky Mackey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jere Pruitt might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Doug Kerr. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jere Pruitt ran back to his position shaking his head. 15 minutes into the game, Otto Robillard was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sicamous's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Special Forces the free kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Homer Primeau got free with Eli Lauzier in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Special Forces getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Duane Bliss hit a great ball. Eli Lauzier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricky Mackey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Special Forces's Jere Pruitt in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Allan Robillard during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Special Forces booed when Sicamous was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Allan Robillard didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Sicamous players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Special Forces were winning 0-1.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ricky Mackey was the one to do the kick off. Doug Kerr showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Herman Whaley, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Jere Pruitt put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Doug Kerr. In the 62ndth minute of the game Jere Pruitt who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sicamous's Doug Kerr was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Doug Kerr stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jere Pruitt's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. 80 minutes into the match, Special Forces's Jerrell Negron sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Doug Kerr narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Sicamous's zone, Jere Pruitt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Doug Kerr came out of the goal and Jere Pruitt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eugène Becker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ricky Mackey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eli Lauzier having to interfere. Jerrell Negron took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Doug Kerr. Doug Kerr dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Special Forces played a much better game than Sicamous and deserved their victory. The Sicamous players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
