Spectators: 8000 (Terracing: 6001, Seating: 1840, VIP seats: 159) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Alonso Arroyo kicked off to start the match. Fidel Baum hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. In the 8th minute Alonso Arroyo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sol Gordon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sol Gordon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Toby Hobson in the 9th minute of the match. 24 minutes into the game, Wes Beebe was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Canadian CO's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Toronto FC the free kick. In the 24th match minute, Canadian CO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wes Beebe to maneuver through the defense. Florencio Moss in the 27thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Frankie Laberge, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Toby Hobson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Florencio Moss sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Canadian CO's Alonso Arroyo got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Elroy Moser to strike the kick off in the second half. Frankie Laberge showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florencio Moss, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Dana Cutler kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. In the 58th minute, Canadian CO's Herschel Cleveland seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Herschel Cleveland the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Canadian CO protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Herschel Cleveland had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 60th minute there was a penalty for Toronto FC. Frank Doran stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Frankie Laberge. 1-1. Sol Gordon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Toby Hobson in the 63rd minute. Lucius Powell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Florencio Moss recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 74th minute, Dana Cutler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Florencio Moss came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Toronto FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Florencio Moss couldn't finish the play. Frankie Laberge showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elroy Moser, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Toby Hobson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 84thth minute tested the skills of Sol Gordon when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Bart Shipp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Canadian CO's zone, Florencio Moss stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Frankie Laberge came out of the goal and Florencio Moss tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 95 minutes into the game, Toronto FC's Elroy Moser nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Frankie Laberge made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1.
