Seating: 1650, VIP seats: 100) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Trey Logan made the kick off which started today's match. 4 minutes into the match, FARGO's goal looked a bit too open when Kurt Serrano came free, but Célestin Babcock reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Billie Busch struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Jason Hay didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FARGO. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ben Durham during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 12th minute, one of Trois-Rivières FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Trois-Rivières FC. When the match had been going on for 14 minutes, FARGO's Gonzalo Shook got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Jason Hay. Célestin Babcock took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilbert Hannah, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Billie Busch received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Jason Hay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 21 minutes into the game, FARGO's Lanny Lambert nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jason Hay made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Célestin Babcock took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Trey Logan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 26 minutes into the match, Trois-Rivières FC's goal looked a bit too open when Billie Busch came free, but Jason Hay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Billie Busch's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jason Hay read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, Trois-Rivières FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cory Waters came free, but Jason Hay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jason Hay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Billie Busch in the 35th minute of play. Billie Busch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cory Waters fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jason Hay having to interfere. When Billie Busch came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the FARGO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Billie Busch couldn't finish the play. Jeffrey Odell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
If Billie Busch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jason Hay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lanny Lambert, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Célestin Babcock made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Trey Logan in the 58th minute of play. Billie Busch recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Billie Busch came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the FARGO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Billie Busch couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Trois-Rivières FC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Mickey Picard hit a great ball. Trois-Rivières FC's Jason Hay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Billie Busch in the 66th minute of play. Cory Waters sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Cory Waters had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 72 minutes into the match, Trois-Rivières FC's goal looked a bit too open when Billie Busch came free, but Jason Hay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jeffrey Odell recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jason Hay didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Billie Busch went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Mickey Picard hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. FARGO's Billie Busch got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cory Waters fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jason Hay having to interfere. Billie Busch received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Jason Hay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FARGO's defense didn't have a chance, in the 91st minute, when Trey Logan scored to the left of an out of position Célestin Babcock, making the score, 4-1. FARGO's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
