Doug Kerr showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Esmé Deblois in the 59th minute of the match. 60 minutes into the game, Zabadak's Esmé Deblois nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Doug Kerr made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Cecil Michaud's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Doug Kerr read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. In the 68th minute Cecil Michaud shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Doug Kerr saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Zabadak getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Waylon Mitchell hit a great ball. The supporters of Zabadak booed when Sicamous was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dwight Jeffries didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 76th minute Ricky Mackey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Octavio Kelley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 77th minute, Peter Galloway hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
