Canadian CO's Toby Hobson got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Frankie Laberge made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Billie Busch sent off a good shot on target. Dana Cutler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 10th minute, Billie Busch got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 17 minutes, Lucius Powell mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Canadian CO and the FARGO players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 17 played minutes Canadian CO got a freekick which was hit by Lucius Powell. Frankie Laberge took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeffrey Odell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lanny Lambert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Frankie Laberge tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 31 minutes into the match, Canadian CO's goal looked a bit too open when Billie Busch came free, but Frankie Laberge reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee felt a red card was in order, 32 minutes into the game, when Maximilien Duff put in a rough tackle. When Wes Beebe came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Canadian CO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wes Beebe couldn't finish the play. If Lanny Lambert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Billie Busch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Canadian CO's Frankie Laberge got control of the ball when Lanny Lambert tried to sneak it across the goal line. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cory Waters to make the kick off. Cory Waters fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frankie Laberge having to interfere. Cory Waters received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Frankie Laberge tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Frankie Laberge didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lanny Lambert went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Lanny Lambert scored 2-0 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Frankie Laberge, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Frankie Laberge showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cory Waters in the 67th minute of the match. Jeffrey Odell recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Cory Waters's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Frankie Laberge was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. 78 minutes into the match, Cory Waters notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Canadian CO's Frankie Laberge. Frankie Laberge was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 84 minutes, Lanny Lambert managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FARGO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lanny Lambert was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 88th minute, Cory Waters got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Frankie Laberge showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lanny Lambert in the 92nd minute of the match. Jeffrey Odell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 96th minute, Cory Waters got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the referee ended the match the FARGO players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
