Seating: 1846, VIP seats: 160) Jere Pruitt made the kick off and thus started the match. Jere Pruitt scored 0-1 in the 5th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sol Gordon, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 8th minute, Jere Pruitt ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sol Gordon was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Sol Gordon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isreal Jarvis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Special Forces booed when Toronto FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafael Jefferson didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eugène Becker in the 14th minute of play forced Toronto FC's goalkeeper Sol Gordon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jere Pruitt in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sol Gordon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 29 minutes into the match, Special Forces's goal looked a bit too open when Elroy Moser came free, but Eli Lauzier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Toronto FC's Sol Gordon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jerrell Negron in the 30th minute of play. When Special Forces's Jere Pruitt in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Toronto FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 38thth minute of the game Jere Pruitt who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Toronto FC's Sol Gordon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fidel Baum recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Special Forces's Eli Lauzier proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Special Forces from getting a goal against them. Jere Pruitt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Sol Gordon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Toronto FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Special Forces were winning 0-2.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Elroy Moser made a kick off. Duane Bliss's late challenge caught a Toronto FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Duane Bliss helped the player get up and apologised. Frank Doran walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Florencio Moss struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Eli Lauzier didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Toronto FC. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Jere Pruitt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Special Forces's supporters rose to their feet, but Jere Pruitt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sol Gordon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 63 minutes into the game, Bart Shipp was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Toronto FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Special Forces the free kick. The supporters of Special Forces booed when Toronto FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bart Shipp didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 64th minute, Duane Bliss got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 70th minute, Florencio Moss made a precise shot to the right of Eli Lauzier. Special Forces's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Eli Lauzier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elroy Moser, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. After 75 played minutes Special Forces got a freekick which was hit by Jerrell Negron. During the 78th minute of the match Bart Shipp completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Bart Shipp a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, Toronto FC's Bart Shipp got a free kick in the 78th minute. In the 85th minute Jerrell Negron shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sol Gordon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 88th minute Florencio Moss shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eli Lauzier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sol Gordon made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Eugène Becker sent off a good shot on target. Toronto FC's Sol Gordon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jere Pruitt in the 94th minute of play. When Elroy Moser fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Toronto FC's protests and gave Elroy Moser a yellow card for diving instead. Elroy Moser hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Special Forces's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
