Without hesitation aimed to the right of Doug Kerr, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jere Pruitt in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Doug Kerr prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Jere Pruitt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Special Forces's supporters rose to their feet, but Jere Pruitt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Doug Kerr breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 46th minute Otto Robillard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eli Lauzier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
