Seating: 1855, VIP seats: 160) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Ricky Mackey made the kick off which started today's match. Jere Pruitt's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 5thth minute, Doug Kerr skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Jere Pruitt blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Doug Kerr having to make a save. Eli Lauzier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Otto Robillard, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. In the 15th minute of the match, Herman Whaley tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Doug Kerr saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 15 minutes into the game, Otto Robillard was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sicamous's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Special Forces the free kick. In the 18th match minute, Special Forces was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Duane Bliss to maneuver through the defense. If Ricky Mackey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 21st minute, Dwight Jeffries got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 22 minutes, Jere Pruitt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Special Forces's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jere Pruitt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 25 minutes of play, Special Forces's Jere Pruitt made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Doug Kerr was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Jere Pruitt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jere Pruitt in the 30thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Doug Kerr, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jere Pruitt in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Doug Kerr prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Jere Pruitt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Special Forces's supporters rose to their feet, but Jere Pruitt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Doug Kerr breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 46th minute Otto Robillard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eli Lauzier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
Doug Kerr made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eugène Becker in the 52nd minute of play. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Jerrell Negron had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eli Lauzier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Otto Robillard in the 68th minute of the match.
