FC Val da's Pete Tate played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Johnson Traylor in the 7th minute of play. Drew Quick received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Pete Tate tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pete Tate stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Johnson Traylor's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. In the 20th minute Drew Quick shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pete Tate saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 22nd minute, Drew Quick got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Drew Quick in the 24th minute of play forced FC Val da's goalkeeper Pete Tate to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hilario Kearney in the 29thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Bobbie Ludwig, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Johnson Traylor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Pete Tate tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pete Tate didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Drew Quick went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. In the 46th match minute, FC Val da was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cesaire Lang to maneuver through the defense. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Johnson Traylor to strike the kick off in the second half. Paul Rowley recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Glenn Roach fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bobbie Ludwig having to interfere. After 64 minutes, Moises Wright mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lashburn and the FC Val da players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cesaire Lang charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cesaire Lang the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 69th match minute, FC Val da was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cesaire Lang to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to FC Val da getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Cesaire Lang hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Drew Quick got free with Pete Tate in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Moises Wright hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Drew Quick sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle sounded Lashburn left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than FC Val da.
