Eli Rudolph sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 28 minutes, Dee Lancaster managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lesueur's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dee Lancaster was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 30thth minute of the game Eli Rudolph who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Val da's Pete Tate was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Pete Tate showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eli Rudolph, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Dee Lancaster fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pete Tate having to interfere. Pete Tate took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dee Lancaster, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eli Rudolph received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Pete Tate tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eli Rudolph was the one to do the kick off. Dee Lancaster could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Pete Tate made a huge save. Pete Tate made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eli Rudolph in the 56th minute of play. If Dee Lancaster had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. Pete Tate was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Eli Rudolph showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 59 minute of play. In the 62nd minute, Eli Rudolph got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Dee Lancaster had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Roberto Meilleur hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lesueur's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
