Hercule Deleon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Doyle French having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Terry Vachon during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Laval Canadians's Darren Aupry got a free kick in the 41st minute. The audience was convinced that Brad Stark's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Preston Phillips was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. Brad Stark sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Noble Cullen succeeded in the game's 47th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hercule Deleon made a kick off. In the 54th minute, Noble Cullen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Brad Stark in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Preston Phillips saved Laval Canadians from getting behind. 58 minutes into the match, Laval Canadians's goal looked a bit too open when Brad Stark came free, but Preston Phillips reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Glenora AFC's Doyle French proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Glenora AFC from getting a goal against them. Alan Whitaker kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. When Adan Gary fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Glenora AFC's protests and gave Adan Gary a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Laval Canadians booed when Glenora AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adan Gary didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hercule Deleon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Doyle French tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 82nd minute Brad Stark suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. Donovan Byrd charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Donovan Byrd the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 83rd match minute, Laval Canadians was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Donovan Byrd to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Glenora AFC defense, Javier Swan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Doyle French. The Glenora AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Doyle French should have stopped the shot. Noble Cullen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Preston Phillips having to interfere. Doyle French made an important save on a dangerous shot by Javier Swan in the 93rd minute. In the 98th minute, Javier Swan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Laval Canadians fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. The Laval Canadians supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Laval Canadians would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
