In the 11th minute, Silas Foote hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnaud Mendoza in the 13th minute of play forced Iceland FC's goalkeeper Brooks Stjohn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 15th minute, Iceland FC's Thomas Duncan ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Marion Willard. Marion Willard yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Marion Willard was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Granville Valenzuela showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 20 minute of play. Brooks Stjohn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnaud Mendoza, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. If Nicky Wilhelm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Basil Polk scored 2-1 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Brooks Stjohn, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 30 minutes into the game, Edward Fair was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pinchi AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Iceland FC the free kick. Edward Fair hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Iceland FC's Brooks Stjohn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Basil Polk in the 32nd minute of play. Marion Willard took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicky Wilhelm, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 42nd minute of the match Émile Hough sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Brooks Stjohn skillfully saved the ball. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nicky Wilhelm was the one to do the kick off. The referee ignored Pinchi AFC's protests and gave Hugues McClellan a yellow card for diving instead. 58 minutes into the game, one of Pinchi AFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Pinchi AFC:s Marion Willard showed great skill when he stopped Nicky Wilhelm:s penalty. A collision led to Pinchi AFC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Fernando Maher hit a great ball. In the 63rdth minute of the game Basil Polk who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Iceland FC's Brooks Stjohn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Pinchi AFC's zone, Milton Barrow stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marion Willard came out of the goal and Milton Barrow tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marion Willard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Milton Barrow, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Brooks Stjohn came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Pinchi AFC's Arnaud Mendoza. But to his dismay, Arnaud Mendoza quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Granville Valenzuela struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Marion Willard didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Iceland FC. Thomas Duncan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marion Willard having to interfere. Nicky Wilhelm recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 83rd minute, Bill Burrows hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Nicky Wilhelm managed to get in a good position for a shot. Iceland FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nicky Wilhelm was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marion Willard breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 89 minutes into the match, Iceland FC's goalkeeper Brooks Stjohn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Basil Polk. 90 minutes into the game, Arnaud Mendoza cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-3. Brooks Stjohn was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Brooks Stjohn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edward Fair in the 94th minute of the match. Eddie Anthony took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 96th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Brooks Stjohn. Iceland FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
