The referee ignored Markland Legends FC's protests and gave Heriberto Lacey a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Defot fc booed when Markland Legends FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Heriberto Lacey didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nathanial Ménard spun around in front of the goal 4 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Markland Legends FC's goal. When Titus Bunch fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Markland Legends FC's protests and gave Titus Bunch a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Markland Legends FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 6th minute. Penalty! Telesphore Tessier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Through an outstanding action, after 18 minutes, Jeremy Williams successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Markland Legends FC's Bedirhan Pekgozlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeramy Weller in the 19th minute of play. In the 21st minute Telesphore Tessier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeremy Williams saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jeremy Williams showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Telesphore Tessier in the 22nd minute of the match. When Telesphore Tessier came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Markland Legends FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Telesphore Tessier couldn't finish the play. Defot fc's Jeremy Williams proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Defot fc from getting a goal against them. Renaldo Ramirez charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Renaldo Ramirez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Markland Legends FC booed when Defot fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Renaldo Ramirez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jeremy Williams stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Telesphore Tessier's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Defot fc's zone, Telesphore Tessier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jeremy Williams came out of the goal and Telesphore Tessier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 36 minutes, Heriberto Lacey managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Markland Legends FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Heriberto Lacey was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Telesphore Tessier in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jeremy Williams saved Defot fc from getting behind. With an all-out effort, Markland Legends FC's Jeremy Williams threw himself towards the right post 39 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ollie Cross, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Jeramy Weller sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Telesphore Tessier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Nathanial Ménard got free with Bedirhan Pekgozlu in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jeremy Williams showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Telesphore Tessier in the 54th minute of the match. 56 minutes into the match, Markland Legends FC's Heriberto Lacey sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jeremy Williams narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 64th minute, one of Defot fc:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Defot fc. If Telesphore Tessier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 72nd minute, Heriberto Lacey left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Markland Legends FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. In the 76th minute, Heriberto Lacey ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jeremy Williams was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Telesphore Tessier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeremy Williams having to interfere. In the 91st minute, Ollie Cross hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 97 minutes, Telesphore Tessier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Markland Legends FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Telesphore Tessier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Markland Legends FC had played much better football throughout.
