Mitchell Huston was a little too slow when Monte Peralta got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 25th minute. The score was now 1-0. Man Ambrose sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mitchell Huston made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Monte Peralta in the 31st minute of play. A hard shot 32 in the game by Man Ambrose from a close distance when the talented Mitchell Huston managed to make a qualified save. Canada United's players were relieved. 37 minutes into the match, Canada United's goalkeeper Mitchell Huston had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Man Ambrose. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Monte Peralta in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mitchell Huston prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Canada United's Mitchell Huston proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Canada United from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Foo Fighters booed when Canada United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tracy Wiggins didn't get a good kick on the ball. Foo Fighters's Monte Peralta managed to work through Canada United's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Monte Peralta dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Monte Peralta to make the kick off. If Gilbert Dill had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Foo Fighters's Olivier Roland got a free kick in the 60th minute. Man Ambrose received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Mitchell Huston tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Monte Peralta in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mitchell Huston prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Man Ambrose had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Man Ambrose managed to get in a good position for a shot. Foo Fighters's supporters rose to their feet, but Man Ambrose was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mitchell Huston breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mitchell Huston stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Monte Peralta's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Canada United's goalkeeper Mitchell Huston, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tracy Wiggins's late challenge caught a Foo Fighters's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tracy Wiggins helped the player get up and apologised. Tracy Wiggins kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. In the 90th minute of the match Gilles Haas sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mitchell Huston skillfully saved the ball. A hard shot by Lindsey Ferland from long distance, 92 minutes into the match, got Gratien Kyle's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. 93 minutes into the match, Foo Fighters's Man Ambrose sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mitchell Huston narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gratien Kyle made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pedro Glover in the 95th minute. Foo Fighters walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
