The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fredric Gibbs was the one to do the kick off. In the 85th minute, Watson's Marc Davignon dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-2. With a little luck, Regina Fighters's Alfonso Bossé got control of the ball when Marc Davignon tried to sneak it across the goal line. Leland Guerra could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Alfonso Bossé made a huge save. After some careless play in the Watson defense, Fredric Gibbs kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jose Becker. The Watson fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jose Becker should have stopped the shot. In the 97th minute of the match, Alonzo Rowley tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Alfonso Bossé saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Regina Fighters had won after a very even match.
