Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Cheminis's Harold Houle started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience was convinced that Alonzo Rowley's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wilson Ferland was relentless in the 4th minute of the game. Leland Guerra struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Wilson Ferland didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Watson. Watson's Leland Guerra got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Leland Guerras short, quick shot in the 17thth minute got Wilson Ferland to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alonzo Rowley in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wilson Ferland prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jose Becker took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sandy Lange, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alonzo Rowley in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wilson Ferland saved Cheminis from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Léonce Yang during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Léonce Yang kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Watson's Colombain Romano tried to score from far away in the 33rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 34th minute, Alonzo Rowley left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Watson fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Alonzo Rowley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Wilson Ferland tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 41st minute, Léonce Yang hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Watson's Leland Guerra got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alonzo Rowley stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Leland Guerra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Ferland saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wilson Ferland stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leland Guerra's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. Wilson Ferland showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leland Guerra, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Harold Houle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jose Becker having to interfere. Cheminis's Léonce Yang got his second yellow card of the match in the 73rd minute. The referee ordered Léonce Yang off the ground. After a rather tough play, Cheminis's Léonce Yang got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Watson's Alonzo Rowley got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Cheminis booed when Watson was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marc Davignon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wilson Ferland didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leland Guerra went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. After 85 played minutes Cheminis got a freekick which was hit by Jamar Herring. 86 minutes into the match, Watson's Colombain Romano broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Leland Guerra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilson Ferland having to interfere. Alonzo Rowley took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wilson Ferland. Wilson Ferland dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Watson's Leland Guerra got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee ended the match the Watson players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
