Alfonso Bossé was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 16 minutes into the match, Foo Fighters's goal looked a bit too open when Fredric Gibbs came free, but Gratien Kyle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alfonso Bossé didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Olivier Roland went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Man Ambrose charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Man Ambrose the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Man Ambrose kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. In the 39th minute, Sid Arellano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Foo Fighters fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Fredric Gibbs did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-4 to the left of a surprised Gratien Kyle 44 minutes into the match. The Regina Fighters players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Foo Fighters were winning 1-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fredric Gibbs to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Foo Fighters's zone, Fredric Gibbs stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gratien Kyle came out of the goal and Fredric Gibbs tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gratien Kyle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Page in the 56th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fredric Gibbs in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gratien Kyle saved Foo Fighters from getting behind. Jordan Bishop received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Gratien Kyle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Absolon Mims had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 65th minute Cortez Goodwin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gratien Kyle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 67th minute Olivier Roland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfonso Bossé saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Gilles Haas fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Foo Fighters's protests and gave Gilles Haas a yellow card for diving instead. If Absolon Mims had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Monte Peralta kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. If Winston Bowden had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 85 minutes of play, Regina Fighters's Jordan Bishop made it 2-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gratien Kyle was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 88th match minute, Foo Fighters was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sid Arellano to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fredric Gibbs in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gratien Kyle prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alfonso Bossé was a little too slow when Man Ambrose got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 93rd minute. The score was now 2-5. In the 97thth minute of the game Fredric Gibbs who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Foo Fighters's Gratien Kyle was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
