Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Papillion Coyle took the kick off in the first half of the match. With a little luck, Toronto FC's Cesar Mailly got control of the ball when Leland Guerra tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cesar Mailly stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leland Guerra's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. Alonzo Rowley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Toronto FC's Cesar Mailly played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alonzo Rowley in the 11th minute of play. After 14 played minutes Toronto FC got a freekick which was hit by Rodger Hendrickson. Papillion Coyle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 20thth minute of the game Alonzo Rowley who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Toronto FC's Cesar Mailly was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Toronto FC's Cesar Mailly proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Toronto FC from getting a goal against them. In the 23rd match minute, Toronto FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodger Hendrickson to maneuver through the defense. After 29 minutes Toronto FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Colombain Romano who took care of the corner kick. In the 36th minute Alonzo Rowley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cesar Mailly saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jose Becker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Papillion Coyle in the 45th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alonzo Rowley stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Leland Guerra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Cesar Mailly tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 58 minutes into the match, Toronto FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alonzo Rowley came free, but Cesar Mailly reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Leland Guerra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alonzo Rowley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Watson's Leland Guerra in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Toronto FC's goalie prevented a goal. 67 minutes into the match, Watson's goalkeeper Jose Becker had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Billie Robles. After a defensive mix-up in Toronto FC's zone, Alonzo Rowley stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cesar Mailly came out of the goal and Alonzo Rowley tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rodger Hendrickson got his second yellow card in the match during the 72nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 72 played minutes Toronto FC got a freekick which was hit by Rodger Hendrickson. Cesar Mailly didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leland Guerra went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Alonzo Rowley scored 3-0 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cesar Mailly, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cesar Mailly made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leland Guerra in the 82nd minute of play. In the 85th minute Leland Guerra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cesar Mailly saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Watson fans' excitement grew in the 88th match minute when Watson's Alonzo Rowley looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Leland Guerra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Cesar Mailly tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There was no doubt that Watson were the better team. Watson's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
