After 2 played minutes Cheminis got a freekick which was hit by Harold Houle. In the 4th minute, Regina Fighters's Emanuel Page ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Wilson Ferland. Wilson Ferland yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Jamar Herring kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. A hard shot 11 in the game by Fredric Gibbs from a close distance when the talented Wilson Ferland managed to make a qualified save. Cheminis's players were relieved. Wilson Ferland showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jordan Bishop in the 15th minute of the match. After 16 played minutes Cheminis got a freekick which was hit by Sandy Lange. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Fredric Gibbs put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Wilson Ferland. Alfonso Bossé took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sandy Lange, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Modesto Stiles during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Modesto Stiles hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Cheminis's zone, Ben Luke stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wilson Ferland came out of the goal and Ben Luke tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Fredric Gibbs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Fredric Gibbs who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 41stth minute tested the skills of Wilson Ferland when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sandy Lange made a kick off. In the 52nd minute of the match Cortez Goodwin shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Wilson Ferland showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With an all-out effort, Cheminis's Alfonso Bossé threw himself towards the right post 53 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Léonce Yang, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Fredric Gibbs recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Léonce Yang hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fredric Gibbs in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wilson Ferland saved Cheminis from getting behind. Regina Fighters's Alfonso Bossé played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Léonce Yang in the 60th minute of play. Wilson Ferland stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fredric Gibbs's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Cheminis's zone, Jordan Bishop stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wilson Ferland came out of the goal and Jordan Bishop tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Fredric Gibbs's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wilson Ferland was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. In the 77th minute of the match Cortez Goodwin shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Wilson Ferland showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 77th match minute, Regina Fighters was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jordan Bishop to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fredric Gibbs in the 82nd minute of play forced Cheminis's goalkeeper Wilson Ferland to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 85th minute, Jason McManus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fredric Gibbs in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wilson Ferland prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 88thth minute of the game Fredric Gibbs who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cheminis's Wilson Ferland was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Cheminis's zone, Jordan Bishop stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wilson Ferland came out of the goal and Jordan Bishop tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Regina Fighters's Jordan Bishop got a free kick in the 94th minute.
