Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Gilbert Dill made the kick off which started today's match. Alonzo Rowley recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A hard shot 8 in the game by Leland Guerra from a close distance when the talented Mitchell Huston managed to make a qualified save. Canada United's players were relieved. Mitchell Huston was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Colombain Romano. In the 13thth minute of the game Alonzo Rowley who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Canada United's Mitchell Huston was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alonzo Rowley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mitchell Huston having to interfere. After 20 played minutes Canada United got a freekick which was hit by Tracy Wiggins. Watson's Colombain Romano couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 21st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Canada United. Watson's Marc Davignon got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Al Petrie's late challenge caught a Watson's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Al Petrie helped the player get up and apologised. 28 minutes into the match, Canada United's goalkeeper Mitchell Huston had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leland Guerra. The crowd rose to their feet as Watson's Alonzo Rowley slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mitchell Huston. That made the score 1-0 after 31 minutes of play. 39 minutes into the match, Canada United's goal looked a bit too open when Marc Davignon came free, but Mitchell Huston reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leland Guerra's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 42ndth minute, Mitchell Huston skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After having played for 47 minutes, Pedro Glover managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Canada United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pedro Glover was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alonzo Rowley to make the kick off. Mitchell Huston made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leland Guerra in the 60th minute of play. Lindsey Ferland lost his temper 61 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Leland Guerra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alonzo Rowley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mitchell Huston having to interfere. Mitchell Huston showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alonzo Rowley in the 80th minute of the match. After 83 played minutes Watson got a freekick which was hit by Lazare Loomis. If Pedro Glover had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pedro Glover fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jose Becker having to interfere.
