If Reid Houde had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience was convinced that Hilario Becker's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Efrain Veilleux was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cameron Grossman was the one to do the kick off. Connaught's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bryce Baum was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Connaught's Efrain Veilleux proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Connaught from getting a goal against them. Reid Houde sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Digby played a much better game than Connaught and deserved their victory. The Connaught players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
