Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Renard Wilson got the match started through his kick off. 5 minutes into the match, Edgar FC's Dirk Pina sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Emery Stokes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 7 minutes into the match, Aicy AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Simon Hines came free, but Emery Stokes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emery Stokes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Simon Hines, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. In the 12thth minute of the game Simon Hines who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Aicy AFC's Emery Stokes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Robin Neal kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Lucien Steiner, 14 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. If Dirk Pina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carson Chu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Renard Wilson, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. In the 23rd match minute, Aicy AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brant Godfrey to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simon Hines in the 24th minute of play forced Aicy AFC's goalkeeper Emery Stokes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dirk Pina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Rolf Dudley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carson Chu having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Emery Stokes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dirk Pina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dirk Pina in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Emery Stokes saved Aicy AFC from getting behind. Emery Stokes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Simon Hines in the 62nd minute of the match. Emery Stokes came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Edgar FC's Simon Hines. But to his dismay, Simon Hines quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. A collision led to Edgar FC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Lance Huff hit a great ball. Simon Hines's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emery Stokes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. After having played for 74 minutes, Simon Hines managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Edgar FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Simon Hines was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 75 minutes into the match, Aicy AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Dirk Pina came free, but Emery Stokes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Simon Hines struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Emery Stokes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Edgar FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simon Hines in the 81st minute of play forced Aicy AFC's goalkeeper Emery Stokes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Simon Hines received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Emery Stokes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Edgar FC fans' excitement grew in the 91st match minute when Edgar FC's Simon Hines looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Aicy AFC's zone, Dirk Pina stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emery Stokes came out of the goal and Dirk Pina tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 96th minute Simon Hines shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emery Stokes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edgar FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
