After 7 minutes of play, Kenora's Josue Howe made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Emery Stokes was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 10 played minutes Kenora got a freekick which was hit by Gregorio Childers. When Robin Neal came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Aicy AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Robin Neal couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Kenora's zone, Renard Wilson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Guy Carrier came out of the goal and Renard Wilson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 17th minute Joseph Lacharité shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emery Stokes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rolf Dudley could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Guy Carrier made a huge save. Aicy AFC's Emery Stokes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Josue Howe in the 22nd minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, Rolf Dudley had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Guy Carrier. Kenora's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rolf Dudley was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. From close distance Rolf Dudley pressed in the 2-1 goal high up into nets stiches in the right cross 30 minutes into the game. Kenora's Guy Carrier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Renard Wilson in the 33rd minute of play. Emery Stokes came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Kenora's Joseph Lacharité. But to his dismay, Joseph Lacharité quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Josue Howe made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Aicy AFC's goalkeeper Emery Stokes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joseph Lacharité. Emery Stokes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Josue Howe, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Rolf Dudley struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Guy Carrier didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Aicy AFC. If Joseph Lacharité had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Aicy AFC's goalkeeper Emery Stokes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Aicy AFC getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Brant Godfrey hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Aicy AFC's zone, Josue Howe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emery Stokes came out of the goal and Josue Howe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Aicy AFC's Emery Stokes got control of the ball when Joseph Lacharité tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Kenora getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Gregorio Childers hit a great ball. 85 minutes into the match, Kenora's goal looked a bit too open when Renard Wilson came free, but Guy Carrier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joseph Lacharité got free with Emery Stokes in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kenora's Guy Carrier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rolf Dudley in the 89th minute of play. Guy Carrier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Renard Wilson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
